Miao Li is a Chinese artist/designer, living and working in Arnhem, the Netherlands.

His practice centres on craft and materials. Through investigation of ecological-cultural phenomena, Miao creates ceremonial daily products that serve as metaphorical representations to interrogate multifaceted human-nature relationships. His work celebrates the sublime, intricacy and beauty of nature, evoking complex human and more-than-human feelings. Unfolding concepts, inquiries and debates through intuitive making, Miao seeks to unravel our long-neglected ecological unconscious and remedy the Anthropocene.
