Miao Li (b. China, 1996) currently resides at Zen River Temple in the north of the Netherlands, unfolding within a living network of art, Buddhism, and ecology. His artefacts arise as sentient assemblages of time, labour, and energy. For him, crafts is a mycelial relationship in which maker, making and made do not stand apart. Through an ongoing process of intuitive, hands-on inquiry, Li composes constellations of care, seeking to awaken the dormant strata of the ecological unconscious.
